Yes. Free is meant for solo dispatchers running up to 50 orders / 5 routes / 1 driver per month. No card required, no time limit. Free includes email updates; any plan can add a monthly SMS plan, and WhatsApp starts on Growth.
It depends on how you signed up. Merchants installed through the Shopify App Store are billed through the Shopify Billing API — charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice. Everyone else is billed directly by Routella. Plans, prices, and features are identical.
Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time from Settings. Shopify merchants get prorated by Shopify. Direct customers get prorated by Routella.
Your monthly SMS plan refills your SMS balance — sending when the balance hits zero fails with a clear error, and shops on Shopify can also top up once. Smart Routing includes a set number of routing stops each cycle (250 on Growth, 1,000 on Pro), then flat packs you prepay that never expire — nothing is metered per stop, and the app warns you before any charge.
Everywhere — there are no geographic restrictions. The tracking page renders in 195 languages with RTL support, SMS reaches over 100 countries (not yet the US, UK or Canada), and integrations work globally.
