Apply to the Florida delivery marketplace

What it is

Routella's Florida delivery marketplace has separate application paths for local businesses and independent drivers. A business starts at routella.app/partners/join. An independent driver starts at routella.app/partner/join. Each page first asks about a Jacksonville or Tampa launch market and the business or vehicle type, then carries those choices into account setup. Florida applications can be saved statewide, but these two entry pages focus on the Jacksonville and Tampa launch markets. An application is not a job offer, a promise of delivery requests, or approval to start paid work.

Why it matters

Starting on the correct page keeps a business application separate from an independent-driver application and saves repeated typing. Your first city and broad business or vehicle choices follow you into the next setup screen. Just as importantly, the application screens explain the current boundary: Florida paid marketplace operations are live, but a saved application is only the first step. Paid deliveries, business card setup, driver offers, earnings, Stripe Connect onboarding, and payouts open only for eligible accounts after every required check passes. Every paid pickup, stop, and drop-off must be inside one of Florida's 411 active incorporated cities.

Step by step

   Open the page for your role

   If you are an independent driver who wants to see marketplace delivery opportunities, open routella.app/partner/join. If you are a local business that wants independent drivers to handle delivery requests, open routella.app/partners/join. This marketplace driver path is separate from a shop adding its own employee or contractor to the normal Drivers & Vehicles list.

   Or start a secure application draft in WhatsApp

   If Routella offers Partners WhatsApp operations for your number, an unlinked number can choose Business, Driver, or Both and answer the basic application questions one at a time in English, Spanish, or Hebrew. If your number is already linked to only Business or only Driver, send SWITCH ROLE (CAMBIAR ROL / החלף תפקיד) to start the missing role without disconnecting your existing account. Send 00 to return to the existing menu while that draft stays saved, CONTINUE to resume it, or CANCEL to remove only the new-role draft. After both roles are linked, SWITCH ROLE opens the Business-or-Driver chooser. Routella keeps signup answers in an encrypted draft for up to 24 hours. After you confirm the draft, open the one-time link within 20 minutes and finish in that same browser; the page continues the exact Business or Driver role you started. The secure Routella page still handles account creation or verification, consents, and every normal eligibility check. Cancelling the WhatsApp draft removes it and its link. The draft is not an approval for paid work. Never send a password, card, bank details, identity document, or Stripe information in the chat.

   Choose a Jacksonville or Tampa launch market

   Pick the city you want to start with. A business chooses one city. Most drivers also choose one city. A driver who selects Truck or Truck and trailer may choose both Jacksonville and Tampa. This first choice records launch interest; Routella still checks every real pickup, stop, and drop-off from its actual address before paid work.

   Choose the closest business or vehicle type

   A business chooses the one broad category that best matches it. A driver can choose every listed vehicle they may use: bicycle, e-bike, moped or scooter, motorcycle, car or SUV, van, truck, or truck and trailer. Walking remains available through the ordinary Florida application flow, but it is not listed on this paid-campaign choice page.

   Continue and create or verify your account

   Press Continue after both choices are selected. Routella saves the broad choices in this browser for up to 30 days so you can finish later. Drivers continue to the driver signup and email-code check. Businesses continue to the merchant account sign-in or creation screen. On a new profile, the first city and selected vehicle or business type are filled into the next setup area for you.

   Finish the saved application

   Drivers complete the Florida driver onboarding one short step at a time, using Back and Next and the progress bar to move through their details and current vehicle declarations. Routella shows a phone-code step only when phone verification is required for that account; otherwise the step is left out, while verified email, Stripe identity, and all other account and delivery checks still apply. If the page is refreshed in the same tab, Routella can restore only the current step, broad service area, and vehicle types; names, birth dates, phone codes, photos, licence or proof values, payout details, and documents are never put in that browser draft. A failed network request keeps the fields on screen and offers Try again. A photo or document that was selected but not yet confirmed by Routella must be selected again after leaving the page. Businesses complete their business profile and service area in Marketplace settings. Routella saves confirmed application steps for later review. Stripe identity and account checks are separate from the application details.

   Complete the checks for paid marketplace access

   Saving an application does not switch on paid work. Florida paid marketplace operations are live for eligible accounts, but every required account, identity, Stripe, vehicle, legal, payment, and delivery check must pass before its related paid step opens. Routella checks every pickup, stop, and drop-off separately; each point must be inside an incorporated Florida city, and a postal city name or ZIP does not prove eligibility. If a required check fails or the reviewed live activation is off, the affected paid step stays closed. Delivery opportunities and driver availability are never guaranteed.

   Check your delivery match profile

   On the signed-in driver dashboard, Jobs your account can receive shows only safe matching facts: the broad service area, exact ready vehicle types, whether instant offers are ready now, and how scheduled offers are set to arrive. Going on a break immediately pauses the instant-offer line. If account or vehicle setup is incomplete, the card sends you back to secure onboarding. It never shows plates, documents, exact location, provider records, or private identity details. The card explains your current setup; Routella still checks every exact delivery, vehicle, area, availability, account, legal, and payment fact again before showing or accepting a job.

   Share a planned trip with Empty-Mile Exchange

   From the signed-in driver dashboard, open Empty-Mile Exchange. For a linked driver, option 8 in the Partners WhatsApp Scheduled deliveries menu opens the same secure page without changing your notification settings. Enter neighborhoods or coarse areas only — never a street address or ZIP code — plus a future window that starts within the next 60 days and lasts no more than 48 hours, one saved vehicle, and at least one positive amount for free weight or space. The starting city must be your saved service city, and the destination stays in the same country and subdivision where one is used. Turn on return matching only if Routella should also look for a delivery in the reverse direction. This does not book work: you still review the exact route and price in Open delivery requests and choose whether to accept, reject, or counteroffer.

    Set current and future availability

    A linked driver can use the Partners WhatsApp Status menu to go Online for 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours, take a break, go Offline, or update one current location pin; continuous live-location sharing is not required. Immediate offers appear only while you are Online and still match the delivery's area, vehicle, account, legal, and payment checks. Scheduled work uses a separate future calendar, so a matching future delivery can appear while you are Offline today. In Driver settings, choose always available or selected weekdays and local hours, block up to 90 unavailable dates, choose active saved vehicles, and set a maximum distance from 1 to 500 km. The separate WhatsApp work-area radius accepts 1 to 200 km; changing the legal city or region opens secure onboarding. Then choose whether scheduled matches arrive immediately, through Smart mode, in one daily summary at your chosen local time, only when you ask, or not at all. Notification switches and quiet hours affect proactive WhatsApp messages, but replies and safety messages can still arrive. You can also save an optional weekly earnings goal; Instant Payout changes stay on the secure earnings page after the applicable checks. These settings do not approve a vehicle, account, or delivery.

    Avoid overlapping delivery reservations

    Routella blocks a marketplace driver from accepting work whose reserved time overlaps another accepted or picked-up job. A scheduled delivery uses its pickup-to-arrival window plus 30 minutes before and after. Current immediate work reserves the next four hours for this check, so a scheduled delivery safely farther away can still be accepted. An unfinished seller card authorization also blocks another acceptance until it ends. This prevents double booking; it does not promise that another delivery will stay available.

    Review the scheduled cancellation rule and any appeal

    For a Florida scheduled delivery accepted at least 24 hours before its start, Routella shows the possible 10% late-cancellation amount before you accept. The same acknowledgement appears before a scheduled counteroffer because the delivery becomes yours if the business accepts your amount. If you later need to cancel, choose the truthful reason, write what happened, review the current server-calculated result, and confirm a second time. An avoidable cancellation inside the final 24 hours can move 10% of the accepted driver proceeds only when Routella already holds the full amount in the same currency; it becomes a non-cash business credit for future Routella fees. Routella never makes your balance negative or funds the credit itself. A truthful safety issue, unlawful work, material business change, or Routella problem can be exempt. A team member reviews every accepted-job cancellation before deciding any reliability-score or future-offer impact. If the first review lowers your score, open Driver appeals and send one private explanation for that exact cancellation. The team can remove or keep that score impact. WhatsApp may notify you and open the secure page, but it does not cancel, appeal, or move money by itself.

    Add your private delivery-cost estimate

    Open Insights and use Profitability Coach. Enter your own vehicle cost per kilometre and any other cost you usually pay for each completed delivery. Routella compares only those inputs with your exact completed-delivery earnings and saved route distances. If a completed route has no saved distance, the card shows only an upper limit instead of pretending the estimate is complete. The business never sees your inputs or earnings. This is a private planning estimate, not guaranteed take-home pay, and it does not change a delivery price, fee, match, charge, payment, or payout.

Tips

• Use the same browser when you continue later. The city and category choices are stored only in that browser and expire after 30 days.
• During driver onboarding, keep the same tab open if you need to refresh after a connection problem. Its small safety draft remembers only the step, broad area, and vehicle types; use Try again to resend the failed action without making a duplicate.
• Marketing cookies are optional. If you allow them, Routella may use only the broad selected city and vehicle or business category for ad relevance. It does not include your name, contact details, or exact address in that audience event, and declining Marketing consent does not affect marketplace access.
• Choose the closest broad category rather than putting private details into it. Exact business, identity, vehicle, pickup, and delivery information belongs in the later application screens.
• The Jacksonville and Tampa pages are launch-interest shortcuts, not a change to the statewide Florida application policy.
